GRAND FUNK RAILROAD
The Gran Fuzz takes its inspiration from the raw, overdriven sound of Grand Funk Railroad. A band that defined the power and energy of early 1970s rock.
Their bass and guitar tones were thick, gritty, and unpolished, driven by simple gear pushed to its limits. They were known for their soulful hard-hitting rock anthems, and set the stage for what rock and roll should be. Their sound was powerful and unapologetically loud, capturing the spirit of rebellion and freedom.
The Gran Fuzz is what happens when that sound stops being a reference and becomes a starting point.
